Newsletter Friday 4th December 2015

Dear Parents,

It's fantastic to be back at TX at such a lovely time of year!  As we edge closer towards Christmas, it has been a week of learning and fun in the F2 unit!  We have continued to practise for our upcoming EYFS Christmas concert.  The children know the words and actions really well now and most importantly have been having fun singing and moving!

We went up to the gym to watch Cinderella and Rockafella.  Our children were able to sit for over an hour to watch the fun packed performance.  In the classroom, the children have decorated our Christmas trees beautifully with their salt dough decorations.  Please come in and have a closer look!  The Elves' Workshop has also kept our children busy making and wrapping presents and dressing up.
We have also been reading the story 'Aliens Love PantaClaus'.  The children also had the opportunity to throw javelin in the big playground.

Notices and Reminders:
-Please can we ask that children's swimming kits are brought in a proper swimming bag and not a plastic bag.   All bags should be labelled with your child's name.
-Only water should be brought in water bottles.  No tea or juice please.
-We would like to request winter clothes for our role-play area-woolly hats, scarves, gloves, jumpers, coats, etc.  We appreciate any items you are able to share and will return them at the end of the term.

-The EYFS Christmas concert will take place on Wednesday 16th December at 8.30 am in the gym.  All parents and carers are very welcome.
-We will have our F2 Christmas party on Thursday 17th December in the morning.  More details to follow soon.

Please see below for photos.

Have a lovely weekend!

Ms Gurvinder and the F2 team.
