WE 10.06.16.

Dear Parents,

Thank you for all of you who were able to attend our EOY 'Fundinos in the Sun' performance.  We hope you enjoyed it!  We thought our children were amazing!  Please have a look at the videos below. We will let you know once the photos taken by Mr Adam are available.

Big Pool
Today was the first of two sessions in the big pool.  The children were divided into three groups. They learnt to use the ladder safely to get in and out of the pool.  The children also focused on learning to getting in and out using the edge of the pool.  The children moved around the pool in different ways and played 'Salmon Says' (Simon Says) to build their confidence in the water.  Ms Precious and I are really pleased with all our children responded to being in the TX big pool for the first time.

Next Week
Next Week is a very busy week for our F2 children.  Please have another look at the timetable Ms Precious posted earlier this week.  Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your continuing support.

Kind Regards,

Gurvinder and the F2 team

F2 Trip to KizCiti

F2’s Visit to KizCiti

The F2 children visited KizCiti in District 4 on Tuesday.  An amazing time was had by all as we explored the different areas in the venue.  We decided to focus on the beauty salon, fire station, airplane, bakery and hospital.  The children’s favourites by far were the fire station and airplane.  There was lots of excitement to be had by dressing up as fire fighters, jumping on a fire engine and putting out a fire.  We were also welcomed on board a Viet Jet Airways flight in which the children dressed up as pilots and flew the plane!  We packed in a lot of fun in one morning!
Kind Regards,

Gurvinder

Please see below for photos of our trip.  Please also have a look at individual blogs for more photos.

Dear Parents,

We are looking forward to seeing you on Friday.  A gentle reminder that all children should go straight to AP1 and that that parents or carers should stay with their child and support them to take part in the activities.

Please also ensure you child wears their House t-shirt, their hat and suitable shoes.  Toes should be covered and Crocs should not be worn.

Please do not hesitate to contact Ms Precious or I should you have any questions.

Kind Regards,

Ms Gurvinder

Science Day Thursday 25th February 2016

Science Day at TX Toon

The greatest day of the year is finally upon us. That’s right everybody, ‘Science Day’ is coming to TX.

This year Science Day will be on Thursday 25th February. Some things may explode, some things may get wet, many many children will get messy, but above all we will be having fun, experimenting the day away.
We will also be receiving a visit from a very special scientist from our An Phu Secondary Campus who will marvel us with their science. All parents are invited into classes at the end of the day to see what we have been doing. Please come in and visit your child’s class from 2 pm on Thursday 25th February.

Teddy Bears Picnic

We had a fantastic time at the Teddy Bears Picnic at BVIS on Wednesday!  We joined the EYFS children there and played in different areas.  F2 started on the field where was sang some songs and said hello to everyone.  We went on to explore the activities on the field including constructions toys, balancing equipment, teddy bear art and craft activities, play dough and a reading area.  Then we had a lovely snack of bananas, crackers and milk.  After that, we went over to the EYFS playground.  The children were particularly excited to play on the castle climbing frame.  Next, we moved onto the soft play area where amongst other things, there were lots of balloons hanging up to bat and catch!  Lastly we said thank you and goodbye to our BVIS friends and got back on the bus to TX.
